there you have it! Mastuh can drive one way 3 hours...................

who is gonna meet up with him?????????????

Glad to hear that youre finally back. Now that you have won Truck of the Month, you have no reason not to move it now.

I am willing to accept it still...

...as I have been for the last several months. I am in Houston. Frankly, after 3 full trips to Dallas/Fort Worth area (and even FlowerMound), I am not in the mood to try and made another handoff. (That is practically a 90% relay point to you.)

You'll have to meet me more on my end, now.

I have been absent from the helm for quite a while (also lost interest in the banner once I got it and passed it on)

I can't believe this thing is still going! I think I had it like 3 years ago! I am now living where I drove 1000km to drop it off at, and i moved here 2 years ago!

come on man kick some ass!!!!!!

though I can appreciate you only being able to go 3 hours, that's a long drive, gas isn't free (even though you yankee doodles get it for a steal, gas dropped to 108.9c/l here this week, but 2-3 weeks ago was 130.9c/l, which works to 3.716/gal and 4.466/gal respectively)

GET THIS B... something TO WHERE IT NEEEEEDS TO GO

subnote:
i'm a little drunk :D

Ah, it always nice to be graced by the presence of Weezl. My day is now complete.

I think for Banner #1, I drove 8.9 hours cumulatively. Banner #2, I have already have it 9.5 hours, and it is looping back through Houston again.

And please, don't talk to me about being drunk. I went to pick up my wife @ 1am from the bar/Christmas party with work (who was fronting the bill), and she tossed her cookies (and by cookies, I mean bits of chicken, rose-colored potato skins, and what looks like soggy lettuce) all over the passenger side of my buddies car I was borrowing for that night since the truck is finishing its SAS. I pulled over at the next stop with decent lighting and paper towels to collect the spilled remains of her stomach from the cupholders, the door side pockets, seat, and carpet. It still smells like it this morning.

She's NOT ONCE hurled her cookies after drinking before, and this is a first. Slightly irritated that her coworkers and male management pressured her and the other couple women to drink so much. One of the other girls found her cell phone in her BBQ grill this morning.

To give you an idea, here is a randomly Googled image o inteior puke. Now, imagine projectile vomiting towards the dash, cupholders, side door pocket, AND inside the door speaker mesh.

I wish stuff would stop coming up delaying my road trip, was hoping to snag it by swinging a bit south on the way home but I can't guarantee this is going to happen before march. Hopefully it won't be too far south when I finally get on the road to get or will have swung north by the time I come thru.

nice, i thibk i put about 24 hours of driving total for this banner!

Merry Christmas weezl.........and the rest of you guys!

I haven't given up on the Banner!

We've had three tragedies in the family this year.....so I haven't felt like driving up to Dallas to get the Banner.....or even getting out of the house.

Anyhow.........the little red Ranger says Hello.................

Happy Birfday Jesus!

Jesus loves Ya'! Have a good Christmas!

merry christmas to you too DG, I can feel you on the family tragedies. my uncle had a brain injury about 2-3 months back, happened days before he was supposed to travel from denver to here in vancouver canada, doctor told him he wasn't allowed to go. He was coming to visit his 96 year old mother, who he hadn't seen for years, and lives with my dad. his wife, daughter (who is expecting) and grand daughter all came to visit without him, a week or two later, he fainted at home, went to the hospital, had a hematoma in his brain, they did surgery to correct it, long 12+ hour operation, which the brain responded with a stroke. he was taken off life support about a week later as he had minimal brain activity, and he passed within about 2 hours. a week and a half later, his funeral was held, my dad traveled down from vancouver to attend, funeral was on a saturday, sunday night he flew home, and I picked him up from the airport, as his f-150 blew a rad hose while his friend was using it, in my dad's absence. this was about 11pm on sunday night, we had plans to fix the truck monday morning, before I went to work at 3, I get a call at about 10am monday morning, my dad was in the hospital with a massive heart attack!

we weren't aware how bad it was until he was transferred to another hospital for testing, the main artery was 90% blocked, which was able to be fixed with 5 stints, and 6 other arteries are between 50 and 70% blocked, however those arteries cannot be stinted, and if they were, or become more than 80% blocked, it will result in bypass surgery! this happened about 2 weeks ago!

i suppose this isn't really the right thread for this post, but it's already typed so w/e!

DG, Weezl, and all others with tragedies striking too close to home, prayers go out to you and yours....

SVT

weezl......hang in there.....I always told my son.....and my son-in-law----"if things ever get rough, talk to Jesus about it". He'll correct the situation here.......or in Heaven.

As for the Banner.....better late than never!

thanks for the warm thoughts guys, it's appreciated!
