When I'm driving at speed(55<) today, my truck with the 4.0 seemed to feel like its getting caught on something and lurching forward and I need help now! :pissedoff:

You're going to have to tell us a lot more if you want our help. We need to know some specifics about the problem, such as what engine you have, what the engine is doing, what you're expecting, the things you have tried, when the problem started, etc.

I have the 4.0 v6 in my 1997 Ford Ranger, it happened today when I was going about 75 or 80 mph, I think it has something to do with the drivetrain I can't pinpoint it but it randomly just shakes the whole truck. It only happens when I am in drive and only above about 55 mph, I hope that helps more.

check u joints and (carrier)(if it has split drive shaft) check automatic tranny fluid should be pink not burnt brown color.

The rpm's do not change, I have the auto and the tranny fluid is pink. The u joints are fine and to clarify it is bucking at speeds, not really making any noises just bucking

Fuel filter and spark plugs been changed anytime in recent history?

Usually shimmy at highway speeds means either warped rotors or your front tires aren't balanced correctly
