ooooooooooh. got it. yeah I have spent my fair share of time there. most of the stuff I need for my vehicles is all special order now. no more scrounging parts. although I need some 17 inch rims for the mini ranger when I lower it in a few weeks.

Resealed then modded the rear shift rod for my 205 today. Triple stickin this bitch!!! Still one output seal short though due to Oriley's computers. It will be in tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm gonna build cm's. One for the trans and one for the T-case. Then I'll build a skid plate to bolt onto them.
Other then that stuff I have to build shifters, a rear drive shaft and finish the dash. Then she'll be lookin good!

That place is like my second home...my projects are all pretty far along, but I'm never shy about hotrodding my vehicles with parts from the Junk Yard...

I'm a Volvo Mechanic, so I've spent most of my time in the Euro section...it's amazing just what you can find there....sometimes it's just like opening the Summit Racing Catalog.

Heading up to Windsor PnP, on Thursday...I need a driveshaft and shift stick to complete my M5od swap, in my '85 2.3 Ranger Automatic

Lol, I just use mine for work...simple lil 4-banger 2wd shop truck...

Setup nice, but plain and simple...

Just put a pair of Bilstein HD front struts on, this evening...just makes me want it back on the road so much more now....automatic transmission puked it's insides out a week ago, today...just waiting on my parts order from RockAuto, and that driveshaft and shift stick

That's sweet. Mine is my commuter. I drive to oakland for work. I just want it to be nice to drive and a little different than factory. Maybe someday I'll do a 5.0 swap in it.

Sadly, mine has turned into a commuter too...not that it's a bad thing...

I daily drive a highly modified Volvo 245 Turbo Wagon...motor finally let out in January, so I started D.Ding my Ranger...which just wasn't ready for the abuse...

It's soul purpose, when I bought it, was to be my work use truck, for hauling my tools and sourcing parts, for all the vehicles I work on...

Like you, stock ain't good enough for me...I did a little bit of head work, put on some nice wheels and continue to improve from stock, every time something needs replacing.

I'm loving this truck....and the repairs aren't discouraging....kind of expected of a vehicle this old, and that's been off the road for over two years.
