rpm x 1000. new tach. I know ever thing is hooked right, but rpm reading is not right.with eng. running 55 mph tach read's just under 1000. if i'm setting still and rev, eng, it never go's past 1000. and i've tried 3 tach, same on each one. and yes I've made sure they where set to 6 cly. any idea's. thank's guy's

Thats what I was going to guess, that it was set on the wrong setting. Not sure what setup you have, and I wonder if you've got it hooked up to the wrong place on the coil or something. Try flipping it to another setting and see what it does. If nothing else contact the company who built it and ask for tech advice.

NO OFFENSE INTENDED!

Did you get a schematic of the wirin to be sure it's hooked into the factory tach wire or the - side of the coil?

it's hooked to the truck in my sig. and it is hooked to the tach wire t/y on the plug coming from the coil pack. No dis. And im north of Memphis
