PlumCrazy's Build

Did a little excel work for a few ratios/scenarios. The yellow shows where I am now and what I am working towards.

Basically..my new 5th would be similar to my current 4th, but with a little better RPM range for the freeway.

I guess I will start taking my axles apart :icon_welder:

I need to final a crawl ratio calculator that includes tire size... im at 108.1 but thats without factoring in a tire

I have FPM in there

Sent from my XT907 using CrapaTalk

What setup gets you to 108?

Not an rbv. My main wheeler is a toyota powered sammi. Still have 2 rangers but ones about to be scrapped to pay bills.

22re 5 speed dual cases 5:29s. On 38.5" tsls

Kris, I made an excel sheet that tells you your speed at a given RPM and tire size with your gearing if you want that.

Edit: Note, its in mph... not kmh

My email is 036speed@gmail.com

I put mine inn Feet/Min since at slow speeds, when MPH is a 1.XX or 0.XX its hard to get handle of how fast that really is IMO

PSH.

That is a good point. Mine is now in FPM lol. A much better scale for crawl speed indeed.

^and the calculation is easier since there is no extra step for changing units of time.lol

I feel like there is a redneck joke in here....

If you truck is slower than a milling machine feed rate.... you might be a redneck...

Hmmmm.....

So I may need 2 cases or else I will be doing laps around you...

Looks like you need to go for that ZF/1356 doubler setup on 40's....we will be even....lol

Then there will be the B2...4.10s and 31s, no doubler, no ****s given...showing us how its done.lol

EDIT: Apparently TRS auto censors the f-bomb...

Another thing we haven't factored in is the actual rolling diameter of a big, squishy tire at 7-10 psi..lol
