looking for info on more droop

Been looking for info on building one of those plastic deals to go inside the coil. Looks simple but I'm not creative enough to figure it out. Any one got a right up?

Bad idea....you want spring pressure to keep the tire planted on the ground for traction.

Alright so if that's a bad idea how would I go about getting more droop from my stock coils. I have a friend that's going to be extending my radius arms 12 inches. Then I need longer shocks. But I still don't think my stock coils offer much.

You don't.

You want more articulation (that serves for more than just visual purposes), you get better coils.

This is why many of us have Jeep or early Bronco coils. The stock (or stock-type) coils suck.

For a super cab 4.0 it seems the only option for flex/droop is eb coils. Which means lifting the truck. Was trying to get around doing a 4 inch lift.

How is it you need more articulation yet you don't want to lift it?
The stock suspension flexes plenty enough over terrain not serious enough to high-center or otherwise stick an unlifted rig...

Have you checked to see if maybe your front shocks are limiting it? (from the factory i recall they do cut about 2" or so off your droop travel) Maybe 1-2" longer shocks (possibly along with leveling spacers) could free it up a little.

I would assume you've already disco'ed the sway bar...

Yeah its disconnected. I was trying to avoid using drop brackets. Finally I fohnd aa thread where a guy used stock 70s f150 coils to lift it about 2 inches on a b2 and get good flex. I'm gonna go that route.
