My Son-in-Law needs help!

Thanks MEN.....We need the special thoughts if you're not religious just as much as we need the prayers form those who know Jesus!

Tomorrow is my Daughter's and SON-in-law's Wedding Anniversary......

and Funeral.

Was praying for a better outcome. He did give a great fight though. My prayers will be for you and the family that you'll feel God's comfort. I lost my Son-in-law 4 weeks ago. He had a Grand Mal seizure and died. 4 days after their anniversary. I feel the pain too but all are different. God bless.

RTG.....I'm so sorry now that I understand how you feel!

My son=in-law (my son's best friend) is overwhelmed by cancer...so I've been spending a lot of time with him at the doctor and hospital (since his dad died from the same thing 10 years ago & his mom is about useless).

His sister & his brother-in-law are like angels helping out...they carry the weight thru this....

so....mods on the truck are down the list because of Life's surprizes!

Over time, rock fails, too. I know, I work with it every day. It ends up being a little pile of sand.

I can tell that you're as tough as an old shoe, but you've got people that care about you, too. It aint easy, but be the man when you have to, and spread a little of the weight around to the ones that care.

It all works out.

Keep it on the road, pull over when you have to, and call your buddies when you break down.

Later,

Comfort your family with thoughts of his good times and successes. And as much as you honor past lives and mourn for them, take care of yourself and yours. Live strong DG.

My condolences.

Get through what you have to now, but please please please take the time to talk to someone...clergy, therapist, etc. in the future.

Thanks Men.....

He was buried today.........

My daughter "lost it" today.....

Been thinkin about you dg! I lost my grandpa about 3 years ago from unexpected sickness. Worst day of my life! Put one foot in front of the other! Trust me things will get better! God bless.

DG: my wife and I have been praying and will continue to pray for you and your family. Our heartfelt condolences. We lost my brother in law last year to liver disease.

Thanks MEN!

My daughter has to let the house go back to the mortgage company....(my son-in-law made a good living and WAS so healthy that he didn't have a primary physician--his Company did yearly physicals on him---everything was "fine" at the last physical that he had done mortgage-cancellation -insurance on their house because of the high cost----who would have thought that he would need it! I had it on my home back in the day because of my Agent Orange problems--but it was only $10 extra a month)

The medical companies call her all day about paying off her bills---even with health insurance coverage, the medicine and co-pays were more than her monthly house note! ....she's paying each of them what she can each month so she doesn't default on them (an understanding bunch---ain't they)

Her 2006 Charger broke....the car is only worth $10,000.....but it'll cost $4,000 to fix everything that went wrong---with NO guarantee that something else won't break in another month ( we have enough savings to get her into a new car....) thank God.

Her $8/hr job wants her to return to work NOW--Go Figure! At times she can't even stand up the grief is so bad!

But.......other than that..........................!!!!!!

just keep your head up. You know that God can supply all your needs by his riches and glory. As long as you know where to place your faith (her faith).. needs can and will be supplied...somehow. It may not be pretty, but it'll work.

oops... I'm preaching in your threads again (and it's not in the Sanctuary...oh no! lol)

Doorgunner.

So sorry for the loss of Jason. Thoughts and prayers to you, your family, as well as to Jason and his family through these times as well. You can never be prepared for the loss of a loved one, it doesn't matter how many times you play it over in your mind, when the time comes that they leave us its still anything but easy.

25 pages DG, 25 pages. of ups and downs...Good days and bad days. Remember the good times, most of all don't forget his kids in all of this, oftentimes kids get left behind during these times, please keep them close its usually hard for kids to grasp what's happening and what the future will bring for them. Thank you for all of your updates on Jason's condition. Was hoping to come back into this thread and find him doing well, and then read back several posts to the bad news.

Once again DG sorry for your loss, Jason must have been a great person to see this carried out for 25 pages until the very end.

Thanks MEN......................

Note: Most members don't know what to reply to a thread like this......If you just post "Sorry to hear it"......that will show you cared enough to look at the thread----Thanks, doorgunner
