bored girly here..

I could pick it up and meet ya so your not on the road as long. As far as the V8 swap goes, your truck being a 97, its virtually a plug n play swap. I've done 5 this year alone...

I'd really like a diesel. You think he still has it?

I'm pretty sure he does, he posted an hour and a half ago dropping the price to $1400. I can post there and contact him if you want it...

Check out if it is an A-pump (looks like it from pics) not the best for power mods. Second find out if it is an industrial application, because there is a difference in the pumps between the 2 applications. The VE pump will be better to get more power out of after doing a few fine adjustments. P pump (harder to find) will get you the most power if you plan to put the little guy on roids.

That's what I want is the p pump. Am I mistaken or arent the pumps interchangable?

You would need a new timing case and lines. Not sure what else but what I have heard was the P engines run a different cam. Also the pumps alone go for around 1000$. In my opinion the VE has plenty of capability for street applications, and very reliable. Push 2-300 HP with no issues as long as its adjusted properly. Pump adj. are free, timing spacer, fuel pin, gov spring can be had for under $250 and that makes a huge difference over stock.
