JUST got my truck today and I need to replace ball joints and wheel bearings. Have some questions on the matter.

Truck is 94 4x4 4.0 5spd d35 front auto hubs

What are the best brand ball joints and wheel bearings to get? I'm guessing Spicer and timkin. Anyone have part numbers on what would be needed?

What else should be replaced at same time, u joints spindle bearings seals of any kind?

Hubs are blown as well, going to swap to jeep manual hub conversion. Which are better, warn or mile marker? What else should be done at the same time?

Best place to buy these items? I got a quote from the bronco graveyard website for like 320ish for bearings/ball joints/manual hub conversion

I hate doing things twice so I want to get as much as is reasonably possible knocked out while I'm tearing into it. Also I have a long travel kit that will be getting installed possibly at the same time, any suggestions what I should replace while doing that as well?

Thanks for the help!

Moog ball joints
timkin wheel bearings
Spicer u joints.
Warn jeep hubs

All good things to replace while your in there.

You may as well go all the way and replace all the bushings front and rear while you have it apart. Leaf shackles and mounts if necessary then you can do a proper alignment and be good for some time.

what bushings are you talking about? my new axle housings have new bushing in them, what else should i replace? leaf shackles are ok, already replaced.

I think the wheel bearings ARE the spindle bearings.

I am a MOOG guy, they are greaseable. Personally I would check for any slop/wear before you go replacing. If the bearings have minimal wear just re pack them and use them.

I have had great luck with Napa pro,Spicer Pro,Raybestos Pro,Moog Problem solvers. Thy will have a blue polyurethane boot like the photo, grease able and live time warranty from Napa,Spicer/and Raybestos not sure about Moog off the top of my head.
My understanding there all made by the same manufacturer just rebranded.

1994 FORD RANGER 4.0L V6 OHV
MOOG K8676 Ball Joint
MOOG K8673 Ball Joint
TIMKEN SET37 Wheel Bearing
TIMKEN 722108 Spindle Hub Seal
TIMKEN SBK4 Spindle Bearing and Seal Kit

Too late for the ball joints. Plus they have lifetime warranty so if they go out I'll replace them, well new ones and try out Spicer. Just bought warn p/n 37780 and 32720 for the hubs. Almost a full brand new front end going into this beast haha! Just need new u joints when the time comes. I'll go Spicer for u joints though.
