1999 mazdab2500 sx.when i push down the truck and look at the shock the frame goes down and the shock mount stays up.also i can wiggle the shock mount threaded rod.

How many miles are on them? Shocks are bad when they are leaking oil, physically broken, or no longer damp the action of the springs. You know when you drive over a railroad track and the vehicle just keeps bouncing.

Can't quite figure what you are describing. From what I can tell you are saying the rubber bushings on the threaded rod are shot. Can you get a pic? That would be most helpful.

Yikes, that reminds me that mine are probably way over due at 142k. The railroad bouncing description is spot on lol. Time for Mr. Search Button on some good replacements

RockAuto often has some good deals on shocks. Take a look at what their close out specials are. Depending on the shipping you could save yourself quite a few bucks.
