Escorts 2nd SAS

don't rush just b/c of a single trip.... remember, the truck is longterm investment.

Just wait for updates this weekend and see what happens. Lol

Didn't end up having time to go get steel today. It will happen tomorrow.

Yes sir, but the cancer spot is larger than the rocker that would be cut off.

That is kinda why I havnt made sliders yet. My rockers and cab corners are at like stage 3 Cancer. Not worth making something to save them now.

Yep. I think I will just leave the cancer for now. It's kind of pointless to do any bodywork to an off-road/trail truck.

I didn't have time to go get the steel the other day, I plan on it tomorrow...if we don't get a blizzard today and everything is closed.

I checked the inside of my cab corner behind the jump seat yesterday..... My cab is on borrowed time. I guess I'll be looking for 4 door cab swap donors soon. And then a flatty....Blue turd might not ne blue this time next year.lol

You doing a flatbed? I was hoping you'd keep yours looking like a truck lol.

I love flatties!
I should offer that Ranger I found on CL $300. I will need a cab soon too.

I agree. You see how I feel about body work haha.
I think Plum and I are getting that storm tonight through tomorrow morning. I need to teach my wife how to use the 4wd on the Wrangler lol

I like the fact that looks like a truck too, but I don't do body work and I hate rust.

I don't want a tube bed, it will be a real flatty with stake pockets a diamond plate floor. And I'll incorporate my current back rack into it.

I will probably try cutting the rockers off, boxing the cab corner, then cutting the fenders around the flare and having it color matched bedlinered from the bodyline down to hide my body work.

I am pulling the rear flares off soon to see if there is cancer under them. If so...I'm probably going flatty, if not I rock the stock bed until its smashed to smithereens.lol

Unless I find an entire truck with a clean body for dirt cheap to swap the cab and bed from....or swap my suspension and drivetrain into.

End thread jack...sorry Ben.

Me too. Which is why i vote for chopping off the rockers. Cut them off bed line the cuts. It eliminates rust then just tuck the sliders up higher
