Ya i was thinkin of putting shoe polish on them, being a painter im really not a fan of tire shine, though they do have body shop safe tire shines. But i actually do need new tires, at least on the front. I need to step down a size, these tires were great when the truck was stock, but they rub everytime i hit a bump now that its lowered, and i want to lower the front another inch, so they definitely wont work.

those fronts look like they've not got much less... an interior might go well with your truck, and some tail lights for your friend's

Back when I was a painter for a Dodge dealership some genius decided to put the detail shop right behind my spray booth.... I was all the time having to go raise hell about stuff they had causing fisheyes... Truck looks amazing as always... I am thinking on getting the same headlamps.. Did you use your own trim or does it come with? I need black with mine...

Someone stole your headliner and interior trim.

its all one piece, unfortunately the chrome is part of the light, so you if got them you would have to black it out.

and for all of you picking on my tires!

I love them, they are very grippy, do great in the rain, and seem to wear well despite my harsh driving (I like to use my tight limited slip on occasion :D ) Unfortunately they stopped making them right around the time I got them (summer 2004), these are starting to show signs of age, as they sat in my shed for 5 years while the truck was under construction, plus I need to step down a size, 245/50/17 is just too tall for a lowered truck.

They were available in different colors too!

Just a candid shot my girlfriend took back over summer with my buddies '78.

hows the 3rd gen?

Collecting dust lol, i bought a house in may and have been spending all my time and money doing updates and renovations.

yep. That's why my ranger went on the back burner.

Well I finally went and did it.. I ordered some Dream Beams today. I also bought new stock coil springs to replace my lowering springs, and a new radius arm crossmember. Just need to order some new radius arms from Ford this week and I'll be all set.

The reason I'm replacing the entire front suspension is because this truck was wrecked before I bought it. They said they replaced the ibeam and radius arm, but the whole time I've had this truck the passenger front wheel has looked like its pushed back. I could never figure it out since nothing "looked" bent. After I put the lowering springs in years ago it wouldn't take an alignment, so I figured something was wrong. Last summer I finally got it on the lift at work and some coworkers helped me determine that the radius arm crossmember is tweaked about a 1/4" on the passenger side, so that explains it!

Dream Beams.......(with a new set of stock-height coil springs/3" drop)....................... :yahoo:
