I am lookin at getting another Ranger.. I just want to make sure
that 33s will fit on a Ranger, STOCK.. I am 95% sure they will,
I just want to be 100% sure.. 2 years ago I had a 96 Ranger
Rollin on 36s With very lil Lift (not much flex room, but they fit).

I want to do this one My Way In Time.. I want to down the road
do a 6" Sus then a 3" Body n roll on 36s (This time, The Right Way)..

(The Lil Ranger Has 4" Lift 33 n 4.0.. Bigger Ranger has 7" Lift 36s n 306)
The Same truck, just Lil Ranger is when I just Paid for it.. Big Ranger was
about 8 Months after I owned it..
Then I got board of it, So I sold it.. I should have kept it.. Oh Well..

33x12.50s will not fit stock unless you trim the fenders some, 2.5-3" lift is needed (they will rub bad when turning).

33x10.50s will fit though (only a little rub here & there).

my 31's will rub if i hit a big enough bump while turning.....i would think that 33's would rub more than just a little....

How can 31s Rub, when they (the one Im getting) come stock with
31x10.5s??? How does that work out?? GoodYear RTS 31x10.5s..
I dont think Ford would sell a Truck that the Tires rub STOCK...

Do you have non-stock rims?

Some here have also used 32x11.50s on stock rims with no lift and little-to-no rub.

My truck came with 31s also (265/75R15) and there was close to an inch all around that tire in all steering positions.

why? because ford is full of so many good ideas? ideas like the pinto? :icon_rofl:

265/75/15's is the size some stock trucks came with, they are actually not quite as big as a 31...hense my rubbing i think. wheels and suspension are stock. from the sounds of it, its an inner fender rub (i cant very well get out and look for the rub since it only happens under full compression while turning).

sometimes the plastic inner fenders get messed up and rub on a stock truck with stock tires. My brother in laws 98 did that with 235s. Now it has 265s and he zip tied the inner fender back adn no more rubbing

My 32*11.5s rub the rad arms, swaybars when turning tight and the valence slightly. I have coils spacers and a little lift in the back. IDK how much exactly but I think I am up about 2" overall. These are mounted on the stock alloy wheels.
