roof rack

so i got the a walmart roof rack and it works great except for the mounting, since it uses straps i wanna make mounts for it does anyone have any ideas? if so i would greatly appreciate it.

If you know where to look you won't pay a bunch for Yakima roof racks. I have bought a few Yakima roof racks. 2 for my Rangers and 1 for my Rogue and I have a brand new spare Ranger roof rack from Yakima. I bought one set on Ebay for $200 with shipping. I later added a faring the next week for $25.00 shipped on Ebay. I bought one for my Rouge at ORS (Onion River Sports) I got everything with the fairing for $230 shipped free. It is getting harder to find stuff for the earlier trucks and cars. You have to look at the ORS website and also....look at the returns as well. Check Ebay for roof racks. On my 89 BII I used the gutter mounted rack from Yakima. Hard to find now but I still see them on Ebay once in awhile.

Post a photo of it. I don't know what that one looks like. I went to Etrailer and searched for my year Bronco II (1989) and found this set up. I bought from them years ago for my 89 Bronco II and the price today is not really bad. Maybe you can use this for mounting yours?
