Ok, Battery light on and battery gauge likes to jump around while the truck is running.
Its got a brand new alternator, battery, negative ground to the engine, frame, and inside fender...
Just not sure were to go...
Thanks for the thoughts

Check he voltage at the battery while the gauge is acting up. it if is steady above 13V, then you have a wiring or gauge issue.

A steady 13.5 volts while the engine is at idle at the battery.

Battery Light

The yellow wire seems to be a power and the white and green wires seem to be grounds. However, if i try to test the plug from the front by inserting one test prong in the front and the other against the body i cant get the white and black wire to complete the circuit. I can only get it to complete the circuit if i plug one test prong in the back of the connector on the wire and then the other to the frame. That make sense?
Could that be my battery light and gauge fluctuation problem? A bad connector?
The other connector on the bottom of the alternator seemed good.

This is going to sound odd, but check the ground wire between the back of the driver side cylinder head and the mounting stud for the wiper motor
