Now that its warming up outside, and that i cant sit still, ive been out in the garage tinkering around and doing quite a few things to my 89 STX.

First, ive sanded down my rusty door jams and put a few coats of flat black rustoleum, same with the lower part of the doors them selves.

ive made my doors removable, which i think is the best thing i could have done, and it was super easy too...

ive removed my ash tray and installed a cobra CB radio and mounted the mic in my reach...

and mounted and ran my antenna...

Tonight im going to pick up a VERY WORN set of 285/75/16's (33's) on some old crappy F-150 rims to see if they'll fit and what ill have to do to make them fit. I'm picking them up for $20. its worth a shot to gather info to see what ill have to do.

So you know, F150 rims will not fit. They have 5x5.5 bolt pattern, while the ranger has 5x4.5

i found that out tonight. dammit. but i have some jeep wheels laying around i can put these tires on. all and all it'll be a tad more expensive, but not as expensive as buying new(er) tires that cost more than $20

get you a set of steelies for rims. check w/ rough country and see if they have 'em.

i actually like the wheels i have. who knows, maybe ill look into something different when i do buy tires, which may be soon if i can fit 33's!
