Tach recalibration. Bad dad

Hey bad dad I got into the tach on this 90 Model and fount the adjustable resistor, it definitely mad a difference the problem is it doesn't have enough adjustment, also noted the back of the cluster had the sheet of plastic withe circuit board in it on the tach side it actually said 8cyl. Wonder if they used that on something else
 
Yea, more'n likely. My 89 had two of those round adjusters, I had to adjust both til the readings on the two tachs matched.
 
Mine has 1 trim pot and it doesn't adjust it down enough, it's a 50k so I will try a 100k and see what happens
