I ordered a Super 40 muffler from seller rpd-inc (truckexhaustkuts.com/magnum exhaust) to go on the girlfriends raptor. All was well till the muffler I got ended up being a super 44. I was irritated about it but its an honest mistake. Called the company and was told they would send the correct one so I could have it in a day (had appointment fir the install) and they would send the fed ex truck by the house so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Naturally they paid return shipping. Pretty good service so far. I was supposed to get the new muffler yesterday but it didn't get here till today so there goes my install appointment. When I looked at the one they sent me though, it's still the wrong one. They again sent me a super 44. This time I'm pretty upset. I call the company and ask for the owner or manager and the guy on the line says he is the manager. I explain why I'm not happy and ask for the correct one to be sent out so I get it tomorrow. He refuses to do anything till they get the the one they sent me back. He also tells me I have to pay to send it back. I really don't like paying to fix people's mistakes. I'm pretty mad at this point and tell him im not paying fir something they did wrong and the manager starts yelling and cursing at me because I left a negative review. In the middle of his temper tantrum he says that he is in fact the owner. I think its a little cowardly he didn't say it when I asked for the owner. I tell him I'm not going to leave a positive review when I keep getting the wrong item. In my opinion, they got the review they deserved. He pretty much tells me I'm stuck with it unless i ship it back or I can file a claim on eBay and throws the phone down. This is the last time I deal with eBay. I seriously doubt anything will happen if I file a dispute through eBay so I filed one with my bank saying I did not authorize payment for that item. Making the buyer pay to ship the wrong item back is absolute bull shit.

I checked the guy out. He has been on Ebay for over 9 1/2 years and does not have many negative feedback complaints. He has 99.2 % positive feedback with 9718 sales on Ebay. I don't see what the problem he is having getting the right exhaust to you. I wonder if it is coming from a warehouse he does business with and they are the ones that screwed up. He needs to make it better. It is not Ebays fault..it is him or his warehouse's fault. I have never had a sigle issues with Ebay.
I have been buying and selling for over 12 years and really love Ebay and Paypal. I got one wrong item and another part once in a package along with the right part. The guy told me he wanted to make sure I got all the cables for my 41 Mikuni flatslides and he showed two different part numbers and he only charged me for one item. He would not let me send the other two back since I was honest about having two correct parts and another different cable...he told me to keep the others as a gift since I was honest. That was a heck of a great seller.

How do you suppose you get a 99.2% rating with no negative complaints? I have no negative complaints, and have 100% rating.

With 9718 sales, and a 99.2% rating, I come up with 78 negative complaints in that equation.
 
oh i love ebay... there will be a problem every so often but it usually gets fixed. and its the sellers fault not ebays. and if you file a claim with ebay the usually WILL fix it.

oh and for exhaust parts and most other performance parts i recommend summit racing

I said he does not have many negitive complaints. He has 11 negitive feedbacks for one year. With 9718 sales and that is considers a very good score with a green star for sales 5,000-9,999 and that is very good for just over 9 1/2 years. He is at Ebay standards.
 
file a claim w/ eBay, they will probably get it fixed...
i had the same thing happen on eBay with some electronic stuff... same scenerio actually, i filed a claim on eBay, they got me a refund on everything... told me to ship the wrong stuff back and they would pay for shipping to. they would get the money for shipping from the eBay seller since i could prove it was the wrong stuff. so i got a full refund on the purchase price that day, and when i sent them a copy of my shipping receipt they sent me a refund for that to.
