Tire Size Help

In the near future I will be purchasing some new tires. My problem is what size should I go with? Right now I am running 265 75 R15's and for new tires I am stuck between 31x10.5 R15's or 32X11.5 R15's. I have 3.73 gears. Would the larger 32's be a good choice?

If you don't care about gas mileage dropping get the bigger 32x11.5 cause 31x10.5 is almost the same as 265/75r15...

Ok, I've been doing some research and it seems that both 32x11.5's or the 33x10.5's would fit. Would I experience any rubbing with these tires on a stock b4000?

personally i would go for the 32's man , i have been debating over and over for months about goign to 33's ... won't do until i have 4.56's.... with 3.73's 32's will be doable, 33's it will be a complete dog and put more strain on the tranny and clutch(if yourmanual)

Had the KL71's they arent great. they hum and are tough in snow, horrid on ice.

as for tire size, dont go above 32's unless your atleast 4:10. 33's and 4.56 is the perfect combo, so glad i got there. just remember, once your high geared, you cant go back easily.

thats really strange i run khumo kl71 31x10.5 25,000 km no vibrations on high way speed , super light hum (quieter than my fathers winter tires on his acura tl) rotated every 5000 miles... me and 3 of my buddies all run these tires no problem at all, no hum super quiete, and also amazing in rain no hydroplaning..... i do agree on ice they are horrible but thats the only thing... when it comes to MUD, were all coming off BFG mud terrains, and we will all never go back , KL71 hands down pulls harder... sure theres better mud tires, but none that are this quiete on the road.... you must of had bad luck bad tires, hey it happens.. if yours were loud i don't blame you for not liking them!

another good tire that are constantly getting good reviews "please don't judge them by the looks" are the Hankook mud terrains, another tire worth while looking at Interco TSL Radials!!!! "drool" lol ... those are the 3 tires i would be looking at if i were you

i agree with 06rangerxlt don't go over 32's, i'm in the same situation as you 4.0 3.73 gears, i'm running 31's its fine, but i dont think i would run anything bigger than 32's

Alright, I will be buying my tires soon. I am going with the goodyear duratracs. I will be doing a torsion crank on my truck too. If I go with the 32s, I wouldn't rub at all would I? Also would there be much of a difference will there be in my gas mileage and acceleration?

Nope you won't rub at all with a tbar crank and 32's

I'm getting 33x10.50 and only have a tbar crank and I won't rub.

MPG, depends, do you drive mostly highway, or mostly city.

I drive about 50/50 city/highway. Thanks for all your help guys! I started a quick follow up thread comparing 31&32's so I could maybe get a quicker answer b/c I am purchasing my tires right after memorial day. Your MPG shouldn't change much then.
Will be a little less in city, but a little more on highway.
