I'm getting ready to put a flareside bed on my truck, and I was wondering, since I have a body lift, can I get the styleside filler neck to work with the flareside? I know the styleside filler necks are longer, but I was thinking since I had the body lift, that maybe it would work...

Anyone have any experience with this or suggestions?

You will be just fine with what you are wanting to do.

I can never remember which one is styleside and flare side. Flareside is the stepside right?
and if you're anywhere nc, do you want to sell your old one?

No, the Styleside is the Stepside

Yes. Flareside / stepside, Styleside / fleetside. The fenders "flare" the bed.

Nope.

I guess I'm going to try it with what I have now, if it doesn't work, then I will buy an aftermarket filler hose for the flareside.

If I have to buy one, I'm going to keep my old one in case I want to swap beds again; I'm keeping the styleside bed...

Thanks for the replies...

What!? Uhhhh :shok: I coulda sworn it was the other way around. Hmm, oh well, it doesn't really matter, unless you wanna be technical about it. I just say stepside so there's no confusion :D

It was too long even with the body lift. I had to cut some off, but I got it to work... Hopefully I won't have any trouble with it... :)
