Does the ' THE KENDALL KARB " - UNIVERSAL VAPOR CARBURETOR thats on ebay really work?

I was wondering if anyone knows, if the ' THE KENDALL KARB " - UNIVERSAL VAPOR CARBURETOR that's for sale, on ebay, legitimately works or if it's just a money making scam..

It's advertised, on ebay, that ' THE KENDALL KARB " - UNIVERSAL VAPOR CARBURETOR that's for sale, will increase your gas mileage by 50% and will increase your engine's performance as well.

Which sounds too good to be true, doesn't it??

I'd like to hear your thoughts and opinions regarding this matter..

It would be very interesting, for the rest of us, here, if you'll post you're discussion results, after you've talked with this guy..

And let us all know what he had to say..

And if, in your opinion, he seems to be a dead beat scammer, or if you a think he may be actually selling a legitmate gas saving device, as he's claiming it is..

if all you get is whats in the pic, its gotta be a scam. some hose barbs, a breather filter, a ball valve and some hose?? what are you supposed to do with it, make a vacuum leak so your engine runs lean?

Actually, snake oil might have a better chance of getting you better mileage.

And it's gonna dump a ton of fuel trying to stoich the mix before it hits the limit and flips the CEL on those few compatible "pre-2000 fuel injected vehicles".

On a carbed engine it may reduce fuel use by reducing air flow past the jets, but that isn't gonna let it run any better, just die out at high throttle and burn valves.

Back in the 70's there was a guy that said he had put a hose from the top of the gas tank between the carb and manifiold on his lawnmower and ran the mower for over 24 hours. He had to put fans on the mower to cool it. When somebody tested it on a car they found he had adjusted the timming to the point of detonation on acceleration. But it never did make the mileage he claimed it did. I think this is what this is.
