Hello

My B2 Vacumm modular for the trany is sucking up trany fluid. How hard is it to change this pce? One bolt pull out then put new on in and bolt backup or is there more to it.

its easy but try to do the swap fast so you dont lose too much fluid. There might be a pushrod in the old one that you will have to re-use. Dont forget that.

and if you get one that is adjustable[if you look in the end the vacuum line goes to you might see a small flathead screw] turn it in, in 1/4 turn increments until you get the desired shift firmness and delay that you like as they are not preset to specific vehicles, but may fit several models :D

I have an adjustable modulator valve on my '90 BII A4LD 4X4 tranny. It has a large black wheel to make the adjusting easier as it is a very tight space to work in. There is also a small pushrod inside the valve body of the trnasmission itself that HAS to be installed or else it will not shift correctly. Small 1/4" adjustments will wind up giving you the desired shift you like.
