Not Ebay, but:

Ebayalready had permission to set fess in autions and Ebay gave sellers a lead way on certain items and they charged us a set fee for selling automotive items. Some lawyer asked Ebay about what was gong on and Ebay was already going to reimburse the sellers and some buyers a fee that was posted with every auction. I got a note from Ebay since I was selling auto, truck and motorcycles and parts that I had in my garages. Before Ebay could reimburse anyone a law firm took action against Ebay. It took sometime to get it resolved and send out the checks but as you see the law firm racked up a lot of money.

Sorry about that...You are right. I meant to say that Ebay did not intentionally do this. They had permission to do so with the Federal Trade Commision but the pricing was incorrect to the tax laws that changed for that year and they meant to make retribution for it but the law firm got involved and would not let Ebay make amends. I do hope you understand now, Bro!!! Scum sucking lawers!!!! Ebay would have set it right the first month the tax rates were increased!!

Where did you find this? The only wording I can find is that they "overcharged" us.
