i have a set of those 'flaps back home. bought them for dad's '96 bronco when it was new, never got put on. as far as 'flaps on my own truck, i actually made mine bigger. i traced them out onto a semi trailer 'flap, but added length and width, allowing about 1/2 between the bottom of the flap and the ground. bad thing is i never allowed for suspention compression, so when the whole family is in the truck you can here them drag when moving slowly. the good thing is, the longer they are, the more effective they are. my rear brackets however broke off from the weight of the rear flaps (had steel no-sail plates on the bottom of them) but the front one do most of the protecting of the truck. rear ones just protect my trailer and anybody following too close when i stab the throttle in the slush. and the cost of a new semi trailer flap (24 x 36) $12. and it will make 4. try getting 2 good flaps for that amount. long rear flaps sometimes get caught on things when you back up though.
