Another future project...???!!!!

Well, it happened again.....several months ago I was given a '64 International p/u for helping my wife's Uncle move back to his old farm!!

This week I went to help her Grandaddy clear some land on his farm & I spotted this HOSS........It's an '84, 6.9 ltr diesel, 4 speed, manual tc, 1 ton axles, & even AC!!!!

It has been sitting for about 5 years & hasn't been started in about a year & 1/2. They only parked it because they bought a brand new one. I found out it belongs to another one of my wife's Uncles.........YEP, I'm already in negotiations... her Uncle is going to need a little convincing, but her Grandaddy wants it gone & is working on him for me!!!!! It is highly probable I will end up with it for helping out on the farm.....

Anyway, enough rambling...............here's more pics:

I tried to get the hood up to get pics, I popped it from the inside but couldn't find the friggin release at the front.. I gotta go over there again this week, I will get it open this time to get some pics...

I'm still working on some sort of barter because I can't afford jack right now....I will not give up until it's mine......

the release sits flat under the hood. just push down. i love my 6.9 except for the fact that it needs a rebuild and needs ether to start. the other thing with those is to switch the glow plug relay to a toggle rather than on the key.

How many other vehicle are on this farm??? Your only 6hr away from me maybe if I come work on the farm I could grab a few!!

LOL...There are 2 different farms, unfortunately, there is only one truck left at her Uncles farm sitting next to my '64 I.H. C900, it is a '70 I.H. C1000 but, it belonged to his Dad & he has a strong attachment to that one.....it's not going anywhere for a while........
