Opinions on Limited slip? (not lockers)

Yeah, it slipped like that in several spots on that trail.

If you look at the ECTED's design, it's easy to see how it can slip, there are no splined clutches or other method of positive engagement inside the diff. All it does is engage a ball-ramp mechanism that merely wedges the L/S clutches together tighter as it turns.

Thanks for the input guys! Southern Gear had the auburn hp for $365. I'll keep everyone posted on its performance after I've broke it in good (175 miles on it now). Honestly, my favorite part so far is the fact that the rear dosent go "clunk" and shift sideways whenever i turn like the wore out trac loc clutches did. I've been through 3 sets of clutches in 9 years with this truck. We'll see how the auburn lasts.

I believe Auburn uses clutches also.

Can you provide specifics on when you saw/heard of them slipping?

Brian has one in the 8.8 that was under the bomber/branger. I've watched it unload and spin one tire climbing obstacles.

I know it pricey (and I have no experience with it), but why not go with auburn gear's electric locker? It has ls when its unlocked. Has anyone used this locker?

I've got two, I like them both. There are people here that have had problems with them though, I don't rock crawl much where I am, and prefer to be stuck than broke with my d35 front end.
