I bought two 94 rangers last year. I parted out the T-boned one and put the other on the road. I torched the parts truck into pieces to save flatbed costs. At the point of this video the box had already gone. I literally put a Ford Ranger in the back of a Ford Ranger. Its pretty funny. The footage could be better but it is a sight to see. The guys at the scrap yard couldn't believe their eyes.

Enjoy!

hmmm intersting. next time try putting a ranger in the back of a ranger with a ranger in the back. :D

Yeah I should have thrown some parts from a Ranger in part of a Ranger in a Ranger. haha

The crazy part is that it did weigh just over 1100lbs on the scale. It goes to show how the Rangers can hold their own. I had lots of room in the wheel wells and the 5 speed 2.3 drive train handled it surprisingly well.

I took this video last year btw and I shot it with the webcam in my laptop. Its why I look so awkward.

Thanks eh. It took so long because the only file copy was on Facebook and it wasnt until today that I figured out how to download it.

I had actually joined the site some time ago when I intended on small blocking my Ranger. I did some body work on the truck but busted the thing up pretty badly off-roading last summer. I sold the it for $100 more than I had paid. I have my eye on an 86 4x4 Turbo Diesel right now. She is already lifted so I shouldn't have the problems that I did last year. I want to put the small block project on hold anyway. My priorities are different these days.

haha nice! oh and better late than never, welcome to TRS!

a ranger turbo diesel? if it is, buy it... they are very rare!

I just have not been active because of my lack of truck as of late.

This Turbo Diesel is sweet though. Its got some fat wheels and a lift kit. The guys said it comes with 2 motors, trannies and difs which will be nice. I am getting her for a 1000 bucks but she needs some body work.

I guess becasue it is 4x4 it makes it even more rare.

The truck is about 3500 kms away from home. It wont move under its own power becasue the guy was in the middle of swapping the 5 speed. What I am going to do it throw the transmision back in at his house and then drive it home on a temp permit.

I've seen a couple 87 diesel rangers on craigslist.... I just never went for em... Didn't care to

ok dude, you need to learn img code, photobucket gives it to you, scroll over the picture, a popup thing will come open, click the IMG line, it will automatically copy the code, come to the forum, hit ctrl+v and it will insert a code like

Ranger in the back of a ranger!!!!

which will result in the picture being displayed in this thread... makes it much easier to read! :icon_thumby:
