Koty's 91 Ranger Build Thread

Shouldnt matter the bushings should take up the little difference in the locations.

pics or lies!

go to my facebook mobile pics. ill put them on here some other time, im lazy.

but got the driveshaft shortened and put in, ran the brake lines (very sloppy and fast, ill go back and make them look better some other time) and took it for a test drive. did pretty good. has a slight whine but nothing i dont think the friction modifier stuff wont take care of.

still gotta hook up my ebrake, adjust my shackles, and put the bed on. stupid me put the rear hangers forward too far by like an inch and the shackle is pushed up too far causing a rough ride. but other than that the rear is all done i think.:headbang:

well thats no fair to those of us without you on facecrack lol

sounds good though whens the front going in? or just say screw it and rock it like a dually

front will hopefully go in next month.

and i might be getting some 37" iroks with penny deep tread and a full tread spare for $400 next month. i dont have the money now so i really hope he still has them. he has been having trouble selling them apparently

Like the build koty. It reminds me of my old 89. Your right about a 2.3 with big tires. I could never use over drive. And couldnt drive any faster than 65mph. I'll have to check out ur fb pics.

thanks ben. i hope to have pics on here soon. havent had a steady computer so ive just been uploading pics to fb via phone.

but the front sas is in process! got almost everything tore out yesterday evening so it wont be much longer. and i also found a 37" irok with slightly uneven low tread someone left at the dump. itll make a good spare for me!

Woot, here to put my word in all of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will be watching!!!!!!

You know that with the bigger tires will kill the 2.3. I recomend a 4.0 swap soon. :D

truck looks good. but i really hope that the highlift really was temporary.

its a good investment to build yourself some nice big jack stands they come ni handy. i basicly just made saw horses outta thick steel for my truck even still i end up blocking that up with wood a bit. and i always make sure theres the tires under the frame rails so if it does fall at least i have like a ft of space to hide in. but im paranoid ive dropped a truck b4 and it sucks

haha thanks cousin bryan!

Fixed the typo for ya.

The high lift jack holding up the truck alone would scare the sh!t out me let alone me being under it and banging on the truck and whatnot.:icon_surprised::shok:
