I know how you feel there.

But even a ninja 250 or something would help. But then again you gotta cover the initial cost and wait months for it to pay for itself. After it pays for itself; it'll save you money.

I looked at buying something for better MPG's. Around $3-5k. Then I started thinking-- $3000 will cover my gas (let's say $60 a week) for almost a year!!

I know it sounds stupid, but I do see a mile or two more with it.

Buy a little bottle, and a BIG bottle. Use the little bottle and then refill it out of the big one. I figured out that the big bottle is about 3/4 the cost per oz.

Thats a great point about a Ninja 250. I had an 07. got it for 2k but i have ssen good ones for $1200. Would do 80moh just fine and look way better than a scooter. Insurance was only $100 a year. 65 mpgs when I went easy on it. 55 when I gave it all it had all the time.

after i moved out of town about 20 miles the mpgs with the old ranger starting hurtin the wallet especially only being full time so i bought a $400 escort wagon and it doubles the mpgs of the ranger... not very pretty (my gf is ashamed to ride in it) but it serves the purpose

I get about 18 in town. (now that its running right) I can push 19.5 if I'm nice to it. But being nice and nice exhaust don't mix very well...

I can push 24 on interstate. Cruise on 68ish
