What was your 1st car?

Drive that mustang out here if you decide to sell it, Tinman

If I can arrange an airlift back home via Flying Monkey I just might do that, ToTo!

74 mustang 4 cyl 4 spd pee green hatchback blew timing belt 1st night doing donuts replaced next day and blew it again same day got rid of it a week later sold it and bought a 72 dodge dart 2 dr best car i ever had

my first car was a 68 fairlane 500 convertible that i still have to finish, ill worry about the car after i have a truck done. the first driving vehicle i had was a 91 ranger ext cab 4.0 4x4 that i drove till the frame got so bad the driver side spring is no longer attached to the frame and the passenger side is about to fall off... almost rust free body though! :icon_confused:

my first car was "Big Red" an 88 Dodge Shadow. It looked just like this one.
87-88_Dodge_Shadow_5-Door.jpg

'79 F350 Ranger supercab.

91 Ranger 4X4 4.0 A4LD

Lot of good times in that truck, it was a POS and needed to go but sometimes i really do miss it and wish i could get it back, but its been gone for around 3 years now and i suspect its been crushed.

hmmm.

first car was a 1970 pontiac catalina two door hardtop,400 big block.it was actually a pretty decent car till i got a hold of it as a 17 year old with big ideas,no money, and no idea what i was doing.

oh well.
i cut lawns all summer to get the $200 i paid for it.that was in 1981.

my first was a 1983 fox body (ew.) mustang (never drove it, went to the junk yard) that i got when i was eight junked at 10, first drivable car, 1974 f250 360 big block with 1 mile on the motor, sold it. third, 1989 ranger deathtrap prerunner, sold. 1982 s10 (POS), sold. 1972 plymouth duster, sold to good friend for $1000 as his first car. 1997 ranger 4.0, gave back (sorta). then finally my baby: 2002 mazda b2300 cab plus 2wd 2.3l 5 speed (favorite of all).

im only 17, im on my 7th vechical and ive never had a licence or permit. and have been driving in the desert since i was 8 1/2...

mine was a 1990 biuck lesabre, paid $200 fall of 09', motor did some funky thing after getting really hot when it was -44* outside (wtf?) and it would still turn over but wouldnt fire, had spark, even with either in the intake. what a peice of garbage. but oh god did i beat the piss out of that car. 100mph+ down dirt backroads, to the floor at every red light, it had a series 1 3800 in it, car had well over 200k miles on it. and when i drove it i got 5mpg. hahaha. me and some of my buddies took that car off roading sooo many times, i caught so much air in it, and the winter i had it we went snowing? and i hit about a 5 foot plow mout at about 50, caught about 5 feet of air and broke the seat off the floor, the next days when the motor blew lol. my second car was a 1994 taurus shaggin wagon. it can SAFELY hold like 8 people. well... a few times i had about 12 in it, hahaha. it had the 3.0l in it and one day i went to pass a semi and the damn dizzy went out in it. got that fixed and last week my dad broke the strut on it and he just fixed it. still runs, suprizingly. if its still running next fall i get it back. yippy -,- can you say compact demo derby? its pre-air bags. then i got my 1991 ranger june of 10' with 108k miles, now it has about 123k on it and all ive done is 2 oil changes (i know im sorry deranger) and changed a fuel pump, and all the other stuff in my thread about it. now i have my 77' f250 thats going to be a pretty slow restoration.

Ok I ask this question to alot of people. Especially older people. What was your very 1st car? Its a fun question and I usually get answers like 69 mustang fastbacks and such. Also a little history, like what happened to it, picks and so on. Usually, "Oh I wrapped it around a telephone pole", or "That POS!"

I'll start, Mine was a 1987 Bronco 2 with a new tranny and a very tired 2.9 that suffered terribly from low oil pressure valve train knock, (would barely run).

Just wanted to here some good stories about the good oldies :icon_thumby:

This thread is really old....lol Who's idea was this to bring it back to life?....
