Ok i have a 86 and 88 ranger does anyone know what all you have to have to jack the truck up and change the tire i need the stuff incase i have a flat and i dont have anything i think you need a bottle jack and jack handle and a crowbar?anything else?what do you use to take the bolt out of the undercarriage?the crowbar? please help

The bottle jack that lives behind the rear seats, the handle that lives on top of the core support, and the pry bar/lug wrench combo unit that lives with the jack comprises the complete emergency kit.

My factory carrier bolt has been missing for some years, but IIRC the lug wrench was the intended tool for removing both that bolt and the eye-bolt that holds the spare to the carrier harness.

ok where would be the best place to find all of these things?I looked at lmc truck and they only have the parts for the under carriage.would a junkyard or the ford place have them? And also can someone post up a pic of how the jack a lug wrench fit behind the jump seat in a 88 ext cab mine is missing so i dont know how they go when i get a jack or a lug wrench.i know how they go in a standard cab.

Junk yard is your best bet.

If I ever find my stuff I'll put it in place and take a pic, but don't hold your breath for that.

this is in my 2002 b series. it is the same in all rangers
