I am going to replace both headlights in my 86, so is there anything better than stock for it or should i just get an OEM replacements??? I would prefer stock style, just looking for more light while driving at night.

Thanks
Beef

i think they have the Slyvainia Silverstar line in sealed beams

just ordered a set of silverstars from advanced auto for under $40 :headbang:
Ill pick them up tomorrow after work:icon_thumby:

i recommend the replacements from LMC (or some of the eBay ones are good-- as long as its the solid glass ones) but they are actually not sealed beam. uses a 9007 bulb ( think, may be 9004)

but i LOVE mine. just make sure if you do that, you get their replacement wiring harness-- or you'll melt your dimmer switch. ask me how i know!! lol. melting plastic at night doesn't smell good driving down the road.

Those seem like a bright idea (no pun intended), ive sold a few at work. You can run hid's in them too. If your pockets are that deep. Mine aren't lol.

Hella H4 replacement headlamps (these meet european standards but look like standard 200mm headlamps) are about the best Money can buy if you want light quality.

I like the silverstars too. Real good white light. And you tend to piss off a lot less people.

got them in and adjusted tonight. I love them as opposed to the old lights. and i went with them because they look stock (I like how it looked stock) and my local Advanced Auto Parts store carries them so i can get one when ever i need to
