well,i'm going to make up for some lost time today.in about half an hour i'll be out on the mighty pacific ocean hunting for the elusive chinook salmon,halibut,and then i'll get crabsD)

no need for the doctor this time.we didn't have time to go for crabs,but we did get 5 spring,two coho,three halibut,and four red snapper.

ya,tell me about it....it seems like it's been forever.

the last two summers i had mega-projects going on,and lost all my build time.this year i made sure to leave a little time open.there's too much half-done stuff hanging around here

i cant even keep up with regular maintenance on my rig lately, i was planning on having the frame reworked by now but hell i am behind on oil change and bearing repack......i have not even fixed the shock mount i ripped off two weeks ago can hardly even tell its gone


trans is dying too. looking at at least 1200 there to get that where i want it. no lockers this year again

funny how getting through life can interfere with our toys sometimes.
as i'm trying real hard to keep my summer open there's a bunch of people trying just as hard to fill it up with their stuff.just gotta put my foot down,i guess

All I know (which isn't much now days) I would really love to see your rear engine, multiple transmissions, Ranger back together and showing what a little imagination and a lot of work can do, when it comes to 4x4's yours is my favorite truck, and I have went back and re-looked at all the pictures of how it grew and morphed into one bad a$$ 4x4.


I will be really looking forward to seeing the pictures of the rebuild and new frame setup.

well,there'll be pics coming pretty quick.on sunday i'll be rolling it into the shed for the teardown,in preparation for sandblasting....but i don't have room to have it torn down for very long.
this means after blasting it'll need some paint and reassembly right away.and once the ball gets rolling it should happen fairly quickly.
