Fixing up my extended cab.

Really liking the looks of the truck ZMan.

I did the wyotech thing. I liked it alot and definitely be sure to get yourself into a well paying job, school loans SUCK (stay away from Sally Mae lenders!!!!)

And thanks for the compliments guys, it keeps me going, albeit a bit slow.

I was thinking of doing wyotech up here in ma, but 26k... I mean itd be free cause gi bill I believe, but im a technology guy so ITT tech was my end choice... Would of loved to learn automotive... God knows I need it.

Ohh and love the truck both colors, like green top better but blacktop will help hide roof like guy said, if you want to hide it. Does it have an opening or is it just a big window?

thats what the base price is now eh? I paid 28k with an extra class (I took collision/refinishing, street rod, and trim/upholstery). I had a great time and learned a lot. Though I've also learned a hell of a lot just being in the field.

The top is just a big piece of lexan that covers the entire hole. Its removable, so its either on or off, no venting or anything, but thats why my windows roll down, lol.

thanks for the compliments.

well, this one is looking great! How is the 94 coming?

I haven't worked on the '94 since November when I took the windshield to the glass guy to get it cut, which he still hasn't done, but I'm in no hurry.

funny you ask!

I also spent about an hour wiring up the license plate light. I was browsing the autozone next to my work, and found a license plate frame that lights up both red and white, its a stealthy led frame. I wired the white up for a license plate light, and ran a wire to the brake pedal switch for the red, so it acts as a third brake light too! I'm pretty stoked, its a neat piece for $20. I'll get pics of that when I have it all soldered and mounted and I have the taillights painted and installed.

I know the front end looks kind of plain with the stock chrome bumper also, but I scored an explorer limited bumper cover a few weeks ago at pull-a-part. I went there looking for a door for my Buick (which they didn't have a good one), then decided to browse the ford section, and lucky me an explorer limited was sitting there, prime for the picking!

how about full body, fully assembled and polished pics? last pics you posted were in march, and they had no front end, fresh outa the paint booth

Its really dirty to be honest, buffing isn't a clean process, I need to get glass in it before I can hose it off :D

I was excited about my license plate frame so I just tossed the taillights and old license plate on just to see it together.

Looks awesome!!! I can't wait to see how your mirrors look.

I'm diggin it brother. Get that thing finished already! Are you keeping the old GT wheels on it or going with something a little better looking?

you don't like my wheels?

their fine. I mean, a set of deep dish 18x11's on like a 305 on the back and a thinner dished 18x8 on a 265 would look sharp as hell
