disciplerocks's B2 build thread

There was a bit of hammering involved. And there are still gaps I cant get to so I am going to have to fill them in.

Anyone think I should swap brake boosters too? Could there have been a problem with the vacuum assist or is the weaker master cylinder most likely the issue?

i was talking to a guy about that before because my buddys toyota does the same thing when you stall it he has no breaks and he said that there should be a check valve in the vaccum line fromn the booster to the motor that way when the motor shuts off you have vaccum for a bit still.

so it probally could just be the vaccum assist.. but if you already have the other M/C why not just swap it in and go for a drive get up to like 15 and shut the motor off see if you can stop.

Thing is, they still feel almost normal on flat ground. Its the hills that get me. But it may be different after it dies.

There is a spot on top and one by the door to fill in

Did you crack the fiberglass hatch or was it like that already?

Its cracked in 5 places from the flop. Need to put my old one back on. I'm gonna miss the removable rear window.

make the whole hatch removable....and add a Ranger tailgate:icon_thumby:

Ok need some input on heim steering. I have been pricing heims, weld in bungs, and spacers. The thing that I am looking for is the tab you weld on where the driver beam meets the passenger beam. Like this:

Also would I need misalignment spacers for all 4 heims, or just on the knuckles?
