well, i don't go anywhere that i don't get signal.. the lower land in Pontotoc MS where we have land, i don't get good signal. but neither does an iPhone w/ verizon as my buddy has one and we compared last weekend when i was down there. b/c i was curious. since i'm still on my parents family share plan, i can't get a plan w/ verizon for less than i pay now.. and i've always been pleased w/ att's customer service. i've had 33 phones.. most of which were covered under warranty and even my mom's phone that was European (idk.... she bought it on amazon and all the settings were wrong for the US) i was on the phone w/ customer service for about 4 hours getting it fixed, they were very helpful and nice. it only took so long b/c we didn't know at first it was European and then we had to go thru the settings step by step. but he never got upset, never tried to rush me or anything. like i said, i'm completely happy w/ AT&T..
but the discount--- for you, congrats! lol. for me, i'm on family share and only play $50 a month as is..
