cool HUMMER

Driving a hummer is, IMO, the ultimate display of douchebaggery.

That is from my personal experience with people who drive them.

That's a case of people ruining a car as opposed to it being a POS to start. The MX-5 for example, has a reputation of being a car for women in their late 20's and hairdressers, making many men overlook it when it's really an excellent car.

Douchebags are the reason why the H2 and the even more asshattish H3 were just Tahoe's dressed in the fake tinsel of the military based version.

And while I don't disagree with you, how many legitimate reasons can you think of for a civilian in the US to own an H1?

The people who buy them these days are compensating for something. The people who used to have some real use for them have moved on to something else.

The same reason to want to own any large domestic vehicle, to scare ricers with a stereo that outpowers their engine. :icon_twisted:

Like I said, it's not about reason, I just love the look of an H1 single cab truck. It's the same reason I love a '67 Mustang fastback, it's not because of Gone in 60 Seconds, it's simpley because I do.

Eh, I prefer the 69.

'68/'69.......wide rear fenderwells......big tires.......mucho mas HP....

Fun!!!

'67 or '68 for me. I must say the first generation of mustang's front ends aren't my favorite face of the muscle car, I slightly prefer the open mouthed Camaro look a little more, but as far as the rest of the car goes it's the prettiest Mustang to me, I particularly love the angled tail lgihts.

There is a few people up here in Ak that get their tires swapped over every season at the shop I worked at and they actually use the hummer for off road i think. They had winches and were sittin on 44's or 39's. They were cleaned up but you could tell they saw off road time and just got sprayed down really well after they were done. however I do believe they were still compensating.

A chick car? There are more miatas racing on any given weekend in the US than any other production car.

I would drive it........ but i don't think i would seek it out or pay the value of a nice house for one.

i'd drive one, but it would have to look like this:

or this

nobody tailgates vehicles with .50 caliber machine guns mounted on them

And there are more chicks driving them throughout the week than the number of them being raced on weekends.
