I'm not so sure he didn't have them. We know they can be made highly mobile, and we know he def wanted them. We also know that as US troops rolled into Baghdad there were several cargo freighters leaving Iraqi docks, flying Jordan's flag, that refused to stop and be searched.

Seems to me that we were looking for a moving needle in a needle colored haystack, and it just happened to jump a ship to the next haystack over.

Also, just from a basic statistics standpoint, lack of proof of the positive is not proof of the negative. Just because I can't see the weapon right now does not mean that it was never there.

First of all, i don't think anyone is really saying that Obama is the one who caught Osama. I bring this up because the ignorant masses of facebook have been doing the repost of "Let's be clear on this: OBAMA did NOT kill Bin Laden. An American soldier, who Obama just a few weeks ago was debating on whether or not to PAY, did. Obama just happened to be the one in office when our soldiers finally found OBL and took him out. This is NOT an Obama victory, but an AMERICAN victory!! RE-POST IF YOU AGREE!!!". If you're going to spread shit, at least make it somewhat viable. However, i don't want to take all the credit from Obama, because he is the Commander in chief so he obviously had something to do with the operation, but he isn't the entire reason.

Second of all, there is no evidence that he is dead. I don't mind the 24 hour burial thing, as it's religious customs..so whatever. However, i do have a problem that Bin Laden has been dead about 3 times now (including this), with no proof to the general masses whatsoever. You think that if you have been hunting someone for 10 years, you would be proud to show off your victory. Conspiracy theory? For sure. I am really hoping wikileaks works their "magic" soon.

You don't really know much about Islam, do you? You know what the public school system has taught you to know, not what the Koran says.

To put it quite bluntly, there are 2 types of Muslims in this world. Those that are effectively non-practicing, and Muslim in name only, and those that want to kill you for not being a Muslim. The Koran teaches the killing of the "Infidels" or non-Muslims, just as vehemently and highly as the Bible teaches to "love thy neighbor".

"Average Joe Muslim", as you put it, doesn't want to kill you only because he does not practice fully what his faith teaches. To apply a Christian idea (it's all supposed to be the same God after all, right?) to this method of practicing ones faith, then God wants nothing to do with you.
