sunpro tach install 2.9?

i'm at a loss on the green wire like everyone seems to be.. the tech library doesn't expalin anything for my 2.9, and i have messed around trying to get the tach to read with some of the connections off the coil. but i still can't get it running... any words of advice?

red - 12v,green - tach side of coil,single dark green on right side of coil,white - illumination,black-ground

got it working.... your prob reading this for the third time too


anyways... for future readers, the GREEN wire on the tach goes to the GREEN wire off the coil... on my b2 2.9 the coil is located on the drivers fender... the connector has three slots for wires. and on mine the green wire was closest to the engine on the connector... good luck. and if it goes wrong...
