Finally Determined the fate of my Aerostar.

While I was working yesterday I heard the morning DJ on the radio (98.5 wncx in cleveland) say that he needs a BLACK beater car for a promo hes gonna do next week. I called and told them what I have, and they called me back after the show.

This morning I got to call in and talk to them about it on the air, it was pretty cool Also they wanted me to send them pictures of it last night, heres the ones I sent them..



They apparently want to paint it up in Pittsburgh Steelers colors and beat it with sledgehammers at a restaurant next thursday.

My mom bought this thing new, what a fitting end to it.

if I had to guess I would say yes. I've got a single axle camper frame on the other side of the van, dad ripped the body off of it 12-13 years ago with the tractor. Gonna take the axles from the big one and put it on the little one and deck it, should make a decent car hauler.

Here she is all painted up. I'm not what you would call a browns fan, but what the hell. this is for charity. Actually, the shop foreman (the guy with the shaved head), who drew Steely's head on the hood and did some of the artwork is a Steelers fan.



This has been fun, but its the last time I'm going to get involved with a radio promotion, way too much bullshit and I basically had to do all the work myself, I'm not getting shit out of this besides a free $4 breakfast buffet and a $300 tax reciept which my mom will get since it IS her van afterall.
