Hello from Colorado

Hello all! I figured it'd be a good idea to register here since I'm planning on keeping my Ranger for as long as possible, and this looks like a great place for information. My name's Bob and I have a 2009 Ranger XL with the 2.3 and 5-speed that I bought new. It's my favorite vehicle out of all I've ever owned (it's number 15).

Nah, because I have a thing for barebones, basic vehicles. I'm shocked I found a base Ranger in an actual color, though. I thought they were all white!

Yeah, it's my favorite now. It narrowly beats out my (sort of) first car, an '83 Chevrolet Celebrity. I'm sure there'll be lots of groans from the Ford folk, but it's true what they say: most Chevys will run bad longer than most cars will run at all. And boy did it run bad for a long time, but in a (mostly) endearing way.

I love this truck though. It's my first RWD vehicle of any kind, everything else was FWD. I've had no trouble at all in the snow, contrary to what everyone had told me about RWD and snow.
