yea I was supposed to get it today, but the guy lost his title and called for a replacement, should be here in 3-5 days he told me, so sometime early next week I should be getting it

I'll play along too. Got this truck bone stock from my dad and couldnt leave it that way so a D30 SAS (and a few other things) heres how she is now. These were the other day having fun. Still working on her but not much more to go.

were'd you get your D30 out of? I have a friend who can get the solid axle out of a jeep cherokee for free...solid axle on a budget FTW

My axle Im told came out of an 85 Cherokee or XJ. Got it for free from my bro in law that he got off a buddy.
My axle swap was on a budget but not enough to skimp on saftey, such as the long arms, paid just over $600 for them.
Hopefully just got done with a death wobble problem, caster was all out of wack but wont know for sure till I go drive it more after rush hour.
Cant wait to take her out again and get her muddy.
EDIT: Got the death wobble fixed, turns out that my track bar that mounted to my frame was severly loose but only could tell when I jacked up the truck and could move the tires and axle side to side. Since then have also replaced all the steering linkage too. Winch and other stuff comming soon.

Here's my '84. All I've done is rip out the smog and exhaust and put in a Puple Horny glass pack. Runs like a champ now.
