Chester is done for. Sunday afternoon i went of one hell of a ride. my friend and i were able to crawl out. no one was serious hurt.

the drive train is going to get put under my ranger.
 
that sucks but will look forward to the build up onon the ranger
 
holy ****! im surprised and happy you guys are ok, that is crazy.. now i see why CheapThrillB2 said he isn't taking his rig out again until he gets caged...

that damage is nuts.. so did you jump over the hill and it endo'd on the landing?
 
How fast were you going when you flipped it? A bud of mine ended up swinging his yota around and when it caught, flipped it straight into the ditch upside down. I saw it all happen in my rear view. That was at 45...and I thought he was screwed, crawled out without a scratch. Glad everyone made it out fine.

it stood on the nose and landed on the roof.
i didn't jump it. i got to the peak and just about stopped when the front tires slid down the back side and the rear unloaded and over i went.

That sucks that Chester had to die like that... I always liked that paint job :) .

I am curious how it happend too. Did you just go over once , or multiple times, or what?

EDIT: ohp, I must type slow, haha. It looked kinda like you jumped it. Must be a steep dune then.

I'm gonna miss Chester too. I'm glad to hear no one got hurt.
I'm sure your next Rig will be just as cool.
 
it was extremely steep, i watched it unfold from less then 50 yds away. The pics do the hill no justice. This was no case of anything other then a freak accident. This was by far the scariest thing i have ever expeirenced. And yes this was the reason for my post in my build thread.

By the end of the week their will be a bad ass ranger born from the cheapthrills compound
 
If you looks at the first pic really good you can see how it happened- just as he said. You can see where the front tires stopped, where the bumper hit, where the grille hit then rolled.
 
holy shit man, good thing there will be a cage in my explorer before i wheel it at all.
 
Holy shit.....glad your alright....what is the cheapthrills compound brewing up to replace chester?
