Default And so it begins...

Started my SAS swap (at last). Stripped and sold the TTB and 8.8 to another member here. The Beast is on stands and looking expectant!

Please excuse the sty that is my garage. The spare 4.0 should be going soon and that will give me room to move the axles around for a better photo.

Still need to swap housings. I can get my sawhorses set up for the swap as soon as we get the motor out of the way. Bring it over with you when you pick up the engine and the stand. I'll even give you the privilege of helping me lift the thing up there! LOL! I'll try and get the tyranny separated tomorrow. Ain't going to happen tonight. Ordered some shock hoops today. Still need some spring perches for the back though.

Yea, here is a partial list:
FRONT
1. Full width, high pinion D-44. Believe it is out of a 150.
2. ARB.
3. Chevy flat top knuckles for high steer.
4. Ballistic Fab brackets with a few custom ones yet to be built.
5. Custom raduis arms. Freaking monsters built by AKBII with Jonny-joints.
6. Super-joints.
7. Probably going to pick up some alloy shafts for it before all is said and done.
8. 1/4" Armor plate diff cover with a drain plug.
9. Still need to pick up the sigh steer arms and fab some steering linkage.
10. 14" travel King coilovers. I forget the valving and spring rate. I'll look later.
11. Prefabbed shock hoops for the coilovers.

REAR
1. Full width 9".
2. 35 spline alloy axles.
3. Detroit.
4. Disc conversion.
5. 12" travel Fox piggyback shocks. (hope these are long enough).
6. Don't know what I'm using for springs yet.
