I would use 1.5" round or square tube and expanded steel mesh. Google for inspiration, some garage time, bam! Headache rack.

well some people may want to use there ranger for some kinda work. i needed one to hual wood, an metal pipe. and i could not seem to find a better way to hual 12ft pipes in a 6ft bed. it also protects against gettin your rear wind shield busted out...

i'm no longer running it i switched it out for a toolbox and custom toneau cover.It's sitting in the yard waiting to serve and protect somone's ranger. I incorperated the tire carrier into it as well before everything was said and done.

Yeah it's alright, nothing special. We have an in house engineer that does the designs in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
