ok so my A4LD i though was shot. but i read Glacier991's thread from one of the exploders forums and changed out my modulator. Well I now have 2nd gear but only manually if its in od or drive it does not shift up. I was wonering if this sounds like a gov. or a shift silenoid? or even a band...

ok so i'm sure its shot and i seen on craigslist today that there is a auto tranny from a 1984 2.8lfor $50 i know everyone says it with match up to the 2.9l but what other parts are needed to make this work. Thanks in advance.

ok it goes into all gears manually and doesnt seem to kick down. When i push the throttle it seems like it spits and sputters. if there is and eletric problem with the tranny will the code reader pick it up ? i ran the codes with the key on and got 11's all the way i'll try key on engine on...
