Trying to identify options
I just picked up a 88 regular cab, short bed, 2WD. It needs front shocks, so I went to buy and was asked if it had the "hi-rider" option? It does sit high for a 2WD, so I wasn't sure. Also not sure if engine is 2.0 or 2.3. Does anyone know where I can get a "decoder" to check out the vin #...- rad1959

Hello all. Just picked up my "new" 1988 Ranger a few weeks ago and found this site while researching. Looking to do some rehab and restoration to a solid framed, decent running truck. It's a 1988 regular cab, short bed, 2 WD that has been pretty well maintained over the years. Any great sites...- rad1959
