Swapping 4R55E to 4R44E possible?
Let me start off by saying I have a 00 Ranger XLT 4.0L 4x4. I have the 4R55E trans, but I can get a brand new 4R44E trans for free. It even has a 2.5yr unlimited mile warranty. There is 160,000 miles on my 4R55E now, and it is starting to slip, a little. I don't do any heavy towing or lifting...- grandam3400
