    Just read the article on the drop plates, I might just stick with what is there. Those lift kiys are pretty pricy. Maybe I'll get lucky.

    Thanks for the reply! I didn't think of that being the date, but it probably is. Needs a new gasket so I'll check the ring gear. It has a lift and big tires. Thank you.

    1993 4.0l v6 XLT Tag says 7.5 but looks like an 8.8. Axle tag is too far gone to read. I'm assuming the white paint marker is indicating it is a 5.13 axle ratio.
