just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if they figured out what causes this?? the last two fords ive owned one being a 89 ranger and the other being a 90 f 150 have had this issue and a quick search on the internet hasnt yielded any answers. thanks!!!

im looking for some info from people,who have owned rangers with this engine as this is my first one and i dont have another truck to compare it to... it is 4wd with the 5 speed. seems to really lack power and acceleration. it seems to struggle breaking 60 mph on the hilly winding roads around...
